Remember
when the Republican’s lost their collective minds about Obama’s birth
certificate. They pretended that it was all about love of country and had
nothing to do with race or party. The Tea Baggers were crying about taking
their country back from this President that was not one of us. The “us” they
said they were talking about was" American" not “white”. That is what they said.
The birthers said they were not racist and it was all about the Constitution.
Even though the rest of us knew better that is what they said.
Now I know
some people that said to me that Obama should just show his birth certificate.
I told them that if you ask any more of O’bama than what has been asked of
other Presidents then it is racist. Truthfully it may be more ignorance than
racist but from my point of view it looks racist.
I’m not
trying to start an argument about this but I do want to see what excuses they
make for Mitt Romney and you know they will find a way to say it is different
for Mitt.
The whole
birther thing for O’bama was because his father was from Kenya. That O’bama was
born in Kenya and not Hawaii. Then they wanted a birth certificate. Then they
wanted another one. It goes on and on and on. Never mind the fact that the womb
that carried him was from Kansas and Kansas is in the United States. If his
mother is an American citizen then he is a natural born citizen no matter where
she gave birth. None of this matters to
the Republicans or the O’bama haters.
Let’s see
how they explain away the fact that Willard Mitt Romney’s father was born in
MEXICO. Are they going to ask for multiple copies of his birth certificate? NO.
Are they going to ask for his school records or grades? NO. Are they going to
ask for his elementary school grades? NO. Are they going to ask for his kindergarten
records? NO. Some of them have said they don’t care if Romney doesn’t release his
tax records. You know if O’bama had not released his tax records they would
have made up all kinds of BULLSHIT (sorry mom but no other word would work) about
him. They would have said that he was hiding Muslim money or money from Kenya.
I’m writing
about this because I haven’t heard anyone talk about it in the news. I’m sure
or I hope someone will bring it up as it gets closer to election time. How are
they going to explain this one away? There is no doubt in my mind that there
will not be the same reaction on the RIGHT like they had with O’bama. Only
BLACK men have to show their papers.
